Sodium Lignosulfonate

Brief Introduction:

Sodium Lignosulfonate (lignosulfonic acid sodium salt) is a anionic surfactant made by wood pulp, with medium molecular weight and low sugar content. As the first generation concrete admixture, our sodium lignosulphonate has features of low ash, low gas content and strong adaptability for cement. If it is used with a naphthalene superplasticizer, and there is no precipitation in the liquid mixture.

Application:

  •  For concrete construction, sodium lignosulphonate can be applied as common water reducing admixtures. And it can be compounded with high range water reducing admixture(such as naphthalene series). Besides, this product is also used as ideal concrete retarder and pumping agent.
  •  This product can be also widely used in textile dyestuff, metallurgic engineering, petroleum industry, pesticides, carbon black, animal feed, and porcelain, etc.
  • Besides, as water reducer, recommended amount of sodium lignin sulfonate in the concrete cement (weight) is about 0.2% ~ 0.6%, the user should determine the optimal dosage through the experiment.  And we must control the dosage strictly when using sodium lignosulfonate water reducer. If the effect is not obvious, and this will affect the early strength of concrete. When the temperature is below 5 ℃, it is inappropriate used alone for concrete projects.
